Coastal Erosion
Often there is no better way to survey an area than by aerial photography. Coastal erosion in particular highlights the advantages. High cliffs, long salt marshes, sweeping beaches, and undulating dunes - these aren’t awkward for aircraft.
Unique unobstructed images offer at-a-glance complete detailed pictures of large areas. And regularly sequenced photography can show the progress and rate of change over a period of time which can easily be measured.
The economic advantages of aerial photography in coastal erosion surveys are immense.
